DURATION: (7 nights / 8 days)


Day 1:

Arrive at Leh airport ( Kushok Bakula Rimpochhe airport ) by morning flight .Check in Hotel and after fresh up start Leh sightseeing of Sankar Gompa: Located on a valley floor and is the home to Lamas who belong to yellow sect and worship his Holiness - The Dalai Lama. Visit Shanti Stupa: a Buddhist religious monument built by Indian based Japanese Monk whose intention was to spread Buddhism by building such stupas throughout the World & Leh Palace: the 17th. Century looking for the entire world like a miniature version of the Potala in Lhasa. The rest of the day is free for personal activities. Have your dinner in the hotel.Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02:

Leh to Kargil (220 kms) Morning after Breakfast leave for Kargil, enroute visit Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, Alchi, Likir Monastery, Lamayuru, the oldest Monastery of Ladakh Moon Landscape, Mulbek, Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain. Arrive Kargil evening. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 03:

Kargil to Leh via Drass (320 kms) Morning after Breakfast leave for Kargil War Memorial in Drass, Located in the Kargil district of Jammu & Kashmir, this place is also known colloquially as the Gateway to Ladakh. The Drass Valley is an adjacent land that runs along the Drass River.

Kargil War Memorial Dedicated to the war heroes and martyrs of the Kargil War, this war memorial is a testimony to the selfless sacrifice of Indian soldiers in the Kargil War. There are artefacts, expositions and a memento shop inside the complex. When you are going for a road trip to Ladakh, you can get hats, T-shirts and other such items from the shop.

There is a sandstone wall on which the names of slain Army personnel are displayed. There is also information on the events that led to the war and you can also read about the details of how the Indian Army captured peaks and market their glorious victory. Reach Leh by evening. Over night at hotel in Leh.

Day 4:

Leh –Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (140 kms. / 5 hrs.): After early breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley via the World’s Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass. Upon arrival, check in at hotel/camp. After freshen up, Visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder, where you can enjoy the camel ride (Camel ride on extra cost) & Diskit Monastery. Have your dinner in the hotel/camp. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 5:

Nubra Valley to Leh ( 140 Kms. / 5 hrs.) : After breakfast, proceed for Leh. On arrival, explore Leh bazaar on your own for souvenir, visit Leh Jokhang or Leh Mosque by foot. In the evening, check in at hotel and have your dinner. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6:

Leh- Pangong - (140 kms. / App. 4 hrs.): After early breakfast, drive for a visit to Pangong Lake via Chang La pass (5475 Mts). The drive takes you through spectacular, amazing scenery, with breathtaking views of the snow covered Himalayas. The Lake is the highest (4267 Mts) salt-water lake in the World, situated along the India / China border. It is about 130 Kms long and 5-6 Km wide. The Chang - chenmo range surrounding it from the north provide a spectacular backdrop to the blue and green expanse of its brackish water. Later drive back to Leh. Have your dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay IN Pangong Area.

Day 7:

Pangong - Leh (140 kms. / App. 4 hrs.): After breakfast return journey to Leh via Hemis Gompa, Evening free at Leh on your own to visit Local Bazaar etc. Overnight at hotel in LEH.

Day 8:

Departure from Leh : After early breakfast, Check out from the hotel in time to catch your flight for onward destination with wonderful memories of Ladakh.
