Day 1:

Arrival-Srinagar & Local Sightseeing
After Arrival check-in hotel at Srinagar( also known as "heart o Kashmir") Afternoon leave for Sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens visiting Cheshmashahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar (The Abode of Love) and famous Shankracharya temple. Dinner and overnight in hotel.


DAY 2:


After breakfast direct transfer to Pahalgam (7200 fts a.s.l) "Village of Shepherds" enroute visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields, Awantipura ruins (9th Century) and Martand Temple (Sun temple). On arrival in Pahalgam check-in hotel. Pahalgam is also famous for Indian film Industry (Bollywood). Pahalgam is also famous for some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Enjoy the Natural beauty and river lidder. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 3:

Pahalgam Stay

After breakfast leave from hotel for local sightseeing of Pahalgam Throughout Pahalgam you will be approached by people offering horse ride to nearby areas. There is no fixed rate for pony ride and you can bargain for a better price. You can hire local taxi for sightseeing at Pahalgam. Outside taxi are not allowed to take tourists to different tourist spots.

Pahalgam Attraction:

Aru valley is 12 KM and it will take 30 minutes to reach Aru valley from Pahalgam. There is an entry fee per head to be paid at the entrance of the valley. Here also you will be given one hour to go around the valley area by your cab driver. Here horse is available to climb up the valley. You can also climb up and see the beauty of green valley.
Betab valley: is situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam in Anantnag district in India's northernmost state of Jammu and Kashmir. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab.[1] The Valley is towards northeast of Pahalgam and falls between Pahalgam and Chandanwadi and is en route Amarnath Temple Yatra. The valley surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation. Betab Valley is a very popular touristic destination. Betaab Valley is also a favorite campsite of travelers as it also serves as a base camp for trekking and further exploration of the mountains. The valley is a walk-able distance from Pahalgam. The crystal clear & chilly water of the stream bubbling down from the snowy hills is a delight; locals here drink this water too. Baisaran and Tulian Lake are few nearby attractions that can be visited.

Chandan wadi: is a rocky and verdant mountain valley and is located at 34.080, 75.415 coordinate – about 16 kilometers from Pahalgam at 9500 feet above sea level. Start out from Pahalgam in the Northeast direction. This stretch between Pahalgam and Chandanwadi is half the route to Amarnath Yatra and Pahalgam is the base camp for the Yatra. River Lidder flows all along this trail between Pahalgam and Chandanwadi. It’s a lovely trek or drive between the two places. You’re surrounded by lush green conifers and meadows interspersed with patches of rock with a sparkling gushing river meandering through all the terrains. The journey is only half as beautiful as the Valley of Chandanwadi. Camping on raw and rugged terrain by the River Lidder is what Chandanwadi is famous for. From Pahalgam to Chandanwadi, one may travel by Mini-bus, jeep, pony or on foot. Almost the entire trail follows the Lidder River up North. It is a very scenic trail with moderate grade trekking involved. Being one of the chief tourist spots of the area, Chandanwadi is well equipped with food stalls for any number of travelers.

Baisaran: Situated at a distance of around 5 km from Pahalgam, Baisaran offers panoramic views over the town as well as the Lidder valley. An exciting place at a height of 150 m, where streams flow through the meadows and pine trees is truly amazing. Tourists can hire ponies for this trek from Pahalgam.

Day 4:

Pahalgam – Gulmarg

After breakfast check-out from hotel and proceed to Gulmarg (8700 fts a.s.l). On arrival in Gulmarg check-in hotel.
Gulmarg is also known as "Meadow of Flowers" and is a famous Golf Course during summer (which is one of the highest 18-hole golf course in the world) and Ski Resort during winter. One can have Gondola ride (Cable car) (on self expenses basis) Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 5:

Gulmarg Stay

After breakfast leave for sightseeing of Gulmarg The wonderful attraction in Gulmarg is the Cable Car ride, which is also known as Gondola Lift/Ride (1 km west of Gulmarg’s bus stand). Jammu and Kashmir State Cable Car Corporations manage the Gulmarg Cable Car ride. The ride is divided into two sections – Gulmarg to Kongdori and Kongdori to afferwat. The majestic view of the lush green hilly terrains and the panoramic views of the picturesque surroundings offer the greatest experience for a tourist while enjoying the cable car ride. The ride also passes by the scenic spot of Khilanmarg - a meadow with a carpet of colorful flowers.
A monument of the British Rule in India, St Mary's Church is a religiously important church in Gulmarg. The construction of the church dates back to 150 years and was done by famous British architectures in the construction style of British churches. This holy church is rare sight of a Christian church in Gulmarg and is reachable through trekking.
The church is located in the heart of the town and is surrounded by many old fashioned huts as well as an old hotel suitable for staying to view snow falling on the surroundings. The alpine trees around the church add a soft breeze to the cool environment. Gulmarg Golf Club is a nearby attraction to visit. Golf is the best attractive sport in Gulmarg Golf Club, established in 1911, was a summer resort for the British and they started playing Golf in the vast expanse of majestic greenish grounds of the Club. This has been credited as the highest green golf course all over the country.

Day 6:

Gulmarg – Srinagar

After breakfast check-out from hotel and proceed to Srinagar. Afternoon you can go for Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight at houseboat.

Day 7:

Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar

After breakfast leave for full day excursion tour of Sonamarg (9000 fts a.s.l) “The Golden Meadow". Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland. Surrounded by mountains up to 5300 meters high the valley is divided by a spur of the "Thajwas Range". Baltal (The Base Camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage) 15 Kms. North of Sonamarg. This little valley lies at the foot hill of Zojila. Return back to Srinagar for Dinner and overnight in House boat at Nigeen Lake/Dal Lake.

Day 08:

Srinagar- Airport

After breakfast check-out from House Boat and drive to Srinagar Airport for onward Journey.
